Position Overview
Our client, a well-established leading local company, is seeking a professional Administrative Assistant to support its Purchasing team. This role is well suited for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to pivot quickly while managing multiple priorities. Candidates with experience working with numbers, contracts, or purchasing functions will be especially successful in this role.
Compensation: $24.00 - $25.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite office environment M-F
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, review, and analyze purchasing contracts, pricing, and item data with high accuracy
- Perform detailed data entry and system setup related to contracts and purchasing requests
- Maintain organized records and ensure proper document retention
- Analyze incoming requests and ensure timely, accurate processing within internal systems
- Support a growing department by adapting to new launches, processes, and priorities
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and data integrity across systems
